can women really have it all?
good evening my loves,
if you’ve been keeping up with the essays on this substack, you know i’ve been exploring the delicate dance of ambition, love, and time. my last essay reflects on the art of trusting time, embracing audacity, and mastering self-strategy.
the key takeaway?
we can have it all—just not all at once. the secret lies in pacing yourself, defining your desires with precision, and moving with time rather than against it.
action steps for diouana women:
ask yourself what you really want.
sit down, write it out, and hold nothing back. clarity is the first step.trust time.
you don’t need to cram everything into one phase of life. prioritize what feels right for now and build your foundation with intention.prepare for serendipity.
instant gratification is a myth. and preparation always meets opportunity in the most unexpected, beautiful ways.
speaking of trusting time, i’ve decided to move this saturday’s salon to january 2025. as i’m deep in executing my own audacious action plan, this shift allows me to focus fully while giving us all something reaaallly exciting to look forward to in the new year. once i achieve what i’ve set out to achieve, i look forward to sharing it with you because it’s a goal as audacious as it is serendipitous and it’s required the best of me. and it’s my hope that in sharing it, you’ll become convert to my own life philosophy of “walk by faith, not by sight.”
changes to salons + substack subscriptions
with this shift, i’m also making the diouana woman salons free for all diouana women. so, no more paid subscriptions for diary of a diouana woman. this blog is a labor of love, and i believe an engaged community of diouana women will yield many blessings, both now and in the long run. so, join us in the first diouana woman salon of the new year in january 2025 <3
lastly, i need your thoughts:
which saturday in january 2025 works best for you to attend the first diouana woman salon of the new year?
how would you feel if i used artificial intelligence to create the essay voiceovers to debut this feature faster to you? or would you prefer to hear my own voice, even if it means the voiceovers take longer to debut?
take 20 seconds to share your thoughts:
i believe we’re on this journey together: learning to balance ambition, love, and rest while pursuing the most audacious of dreams.
thank you for your patience, trust, and commitment to building a life layered with meaning.
sweet dreams,
a diouana woman
p.s. if you haven’t read my last essay yet, check it out: before the year is over, do this one thing.
